I have a user who's interested in backing up his email archive databases to USB memory keys. I can't think of a reason to say no to that. Any thoughts?

Hey Chuck,
Two things that I can think of - 1) you mention that you are the Notes Admin for a publically traded company. There could be an IP issue to consider here, and at the very least - you'll want someone higher-up to make that decision. 2) Archiving is great, but you don't want that information to leave your servers. I don't know whether you have an enterprise discovery solution in-place, or some form of meta-archiving to ensure that you don't lose anything valuable.

"Can I" is easy enough - it's totally doable. "Should I" however...
